PowerChurch Synchronization

PowerChurch is a desktop software product for managing church membership records (Church Management System). PowerChurch can sync its data directly (one-way) with OneBody.

Getting Started

First, you’ll need to obtain your admin user API Key from support staff (support@beonebody.com) or from your system administrator if you host OneBody on your own server.

Setting Up PowerChurch

Once you have your API key, launch PowerChurch, click the Utilities menu and choose OneBody Sync Settings.

Click the Server tab in the dialog that appears.

  1. Paste your API Key into the first field.
  2. Enter your Sync URL (see below for details).

Sync URL

Your Sync URL is the web address of your site, then a slash (/), then “pc_sync” (without the quotes). For example:

http://example.beonebody.com/pc_sync
...or...
http://example.com/pc_sync

Performing the Sync

To perform a synchronization, click the Sync Now button in the lower-left.

If you receive an error, please copy the message in the error and send it to support or to your system administrator.
